Saint Joseph's College students Katie Dunn and Katie Pelletier, who spent the afternoon flying kites at the beach, were two of the many Mainers who took advantage of Thursday's 60-degree temperatures.
"I love living in New England, but the winters are way too long," said Dunn, who is 20. "I'm definitely looking forward to summertime and getting to the beach as much as possible."
