LONDON, April 17, 2008 (AFP) - There is a story of a new MP entering the
House of Commons for the first time and looking across the floor of the
debating chamber.

"I suppose that's where the 'enemy' sit, " he says to a senior colleague.

"No, that's where the opposition sits," replies the old pro. "Your enemies
are behind you."

Brian Ashton, deposed on Wednesday as England coach, could be forgiven for
