Strong opening kick
"Forbidden Kingdom," a martial-arts fantasy starring Jackie Chan, was the top film at U.S. and Canadian theaters this weekend, bringing in $20.9 million in ticket sales.
The film edged out the Judd Apatow comedy "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," which was second with sales of $17.3 million in its opening weekend. "Prom Night" dropped to third with sales of $9.1 million, and "88 Minutes" was fourth with $6.8 million, box-office tracker Media By Numbers LLC said.
