Yunnan Province Eying Asian Mining Right Exchange Center
KUNMING, May 09, 2008 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Southwest China's Yunnan Province targets to make its mining right exchange center a specialized one serving companies in Southeast Asia or even the entire Asia, said the provincial government on May 7, 2008.
China and its surrounding countries have been among the regions with the most favor of global mining investors, thanks to their rich mining resources. However, no world-class mining right exchange center has been created in the region by far and the emerging Chinese capital market has not provided venture-financing services for miners.
