15 Sichuan or Chongqing-based Stocks Hit Daily Limit-up on May 15

SHENZHEN, May 19, 2008 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Up to 26 stocks on Mainland China's stock market hit the daily limit-up on May 15, 2008, 15 of which were Sichuan or Chongqing-based stocks.

Eight Sichuan and Chongqing-based stocks had two consecutive daily limit-ups after resuming their trading on May 14, following a suspension on May 13, due to a big earthquake in southwest China.

Among the nine Sichuan stocks that restarted trading on May 15, five rose while four fell. But the declines were all within 4.8%.
