Listed Agriculture Companies Expected to Run Better

SHENZHEN, May 27, 2008 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China's listed companies in the industries of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery enjoyed a 180% net profit growth in the first quarter of 2008, which are expected to perform better in the future.

49 listed companies in the industries achieved operating revenue of CNY 20.088 billion in total in the quarter, leaping 50% over the same period of a year earlier, and net investment incomes CNY 312 million, surging 237%.
