KUALA LUMPUR: Vandalism is becoming an increasingly pressing problem among low-cost flats in the city.
But this menace may soon be curbed now that City Hall has installed the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system in various blocks at a cost of RM4.8 million.
Launched by Datuk Bandar Datuk Ab Hakim Borhan at the Youth Complex in Cheras yesterday, the system known as "Scada" comprises closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras and the building management system (BMS).
