Bask: Chicago Bulls player Noah gets fined for marijuana
MIAMI, May 29 Reuters - Chicago Bulls basketball player Joakim Noah, son of former
French Open tennis champion Yannick Noah, has agreed to serve six months probation and
pay a $US200 ($A208) fine after being charged with marijuana possession in Florida, the
State Attorney's office said today.
Police in Gainesville, Florida, where Noah starred on two national collegiate championship
teams with the University of Florida, said he was charged on Sunday after being found
in possession of an open container of alcohol and less than 20 grams of marijuana, both
misdemeanor offenses.
