Aths: Graham found guilty of perjury
SAN FRANCISCO, California, May 29 AFP - Athletics coach Trevor Graham was found guilty
of perjury here today and could face up to five years in jail and a $US250,000 ($A260,000)
fine.
However, the Jamaican-born former athlete - who coached three disgraced former sprinters,
jailbird Marion Jones, her former companion Tim Montgomery and Justin Gatlin - could face
a heavier penal sentence and fine if he is found guilty on all three charges levelled
against him.
Graham - who was a replacement runner for the Jamaican 4x400m relay team that won
silver at the 1988 Olympics - is due to be retried on those two charges ...
