SULAIMAN Safawi Wajib, 56, a former North Port marine driver who is a victim of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), is on the lung transplant waiting list.
He was put on the list for a double lung transplant on Feb 14, 2006.
Sulaiman, of Jalan Kapar, Klang, started showing symptoms of the disease in 2003.
He is now totally dependent on the oxygen tank and cannot breathe without it.
"I cannot eat or walk for long or do chores on my own. I have become so dependent on oxygen and helpless," said the father of nine.
