The game started out soggy, and only got soggier for the Portland Sea Dogs.

Less-than-savory weather delayed Wednesday night's game more than an hour, and when the Sea Dogs hit the field the Erie SeaWolves took advantage of timely hitting in the opening innings of a 5-0 victory at Hadlock Field.
