SMALL- and medium-sized enterprises must form partnerships and expand abroad as they now compete with global companies, said Deputy International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Jacob Dungau Sagan.
"Forging partnership is an important tool in commercial strategy," he said.
The East Asia SME Convention 2008, which he launched yesterday, would act as a business exchange and help them to enhance growth, he said.
