MIAMI, Florida, June 6 AFP - American sprinter Justin Gatlin, who lost an appeal against
a four-year doping ban before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), has lodged a civil
suit against the US Anti-doping Agency (USADA), a judge in Florida confirmed today.
The 26-year-old sprinter's case is being based on discrimination in the workplace against
handicapped people, the office for his attorney Joseph Zarzaur said.
According to Brady Velez, an associate of Zarzaur, this petition is aimed at allowing
Gatlin "to participate in the Olympic trails" which will take place in Eugene, Oregon
from June 27 to ...
