LOVERS of Starbucks coffee in Malaysia need not fear of being denied their caffeine supply as Malaysian franchisee, Berjaya Starbucks Coffee Co (BSCC) Sdn Bhd, said it has no plans to follow what the brand owner in Seattle did.
Seattle's Starbucks Corp on Wednesday said it was closing down in stages 600 outlets, given the weak US economy.
The closure is expected to affect about 12,000 employees or seven per cent of Starbucks' global workforce.
