MTD Capital Bhd, a construction and toll road operator, expects to complete the buyout of its two listed subsidiaries, MTD InfraPerdana and Metacorp, by early next year.

"It is good to take our subsidiaries private. We hope to complete the exercise in the first quarter of 2009," group managing director Datuk Azmil Khalili Khalid told reporters yesterday.
He was speaking after the official launch of MTD's newly upgraded corporate office in Batu Caves, Selangor.
