Score one for the human race in the battle between man and machine.
The Maine Supreme Judicial Court rightly ruled that a hand- counted vote tally trumped the machine count in the disputed Democratic primary for the House seat representing Yarmouth.
The race was tied on Election Night, and a hand-counted recount found a 2-vote win for Melissa Walsh Innes, with three disputed ballots.
