BROWN: Mr Speaker, with permission and following my visit last
weekend to Baghdad and Basra I would like to update the House on the latest
developments in Iraq.
Let me start by paying tribute to the British servicemen and
women who have served there with distinction since March 2003 - and in
particular to pay tribute to those who have given their lives in service
