AN INTERNATIONAL machinery exhibition has been forecast to generate a 20 per cent rise in sales this year as it adds more participants and expects more visitors.
The 19th Malaysia International Machinery Fair (MIMF) 2008 is confident of generating close to US$100 million (RM324 million) in sales during the four-day show, which started yesterday.
ES Event Management Sdn Bhd chairman Mahmud Mohd Nor said the projection is based on higher number of exhibitors and bigger exhibition space.
