Alibaba Officially Sets up Its Taiwan Arm

SHENZHEN, Jul 28, 2008 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Alibaba.com, the bellwether of China's B2B industry, on July 24 officially set up its Taiwan arm in a bid to serve better its 40,000 members there.

In addition, such a move is aimed at providing its paying club members in Taiwan with high-quality localized customer service and offline trainings on marketing and sales. So far Alibaba has had more than 2,000 paying club members in Taiwan.
