And now, the intersection of faith and fiction on the Talk of the Nation Opinion Page. Tomorrow, August 12th, was supposed to be the publication date of a new historical novel about Aisha, the youngest wife of the prophet Muhammad, called "Jewel of Medina." But the Ballantine division at Random House postponed publication this past May due to fears that the book would offend some Muslims and might incite a few to violence.
