WEAK performances on the regional stock markets sent share prices on Bursa Malaysia lower yesterday. Its overall declining counters out-paced its advancing counters by 338 to 185.

The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI) fell from its intra-day high of 1,127.35 down to its intra-day low of 1,116.04 yesterday. The KLCI closed at 1,118.78 points, giving a day-on-day loss of 8.68 points, or 0.77 per cent.
