MEXICO CITY, Mexico, Aug. 13, 2008 (IPS/GIN) -- The Swiss
Federal Commission for HIV/AIDS has set off a firestorm by
asserting that people living with the virus may in some cases have
sex without a condom, without endangering their uninfected
partners.
The Swiss governmental entity released a text claiming that
people living with HIV who are free of other sexually transmitted
diseases and are under effective antiretroviral therapy do not
transmit HIV through sexual contact. The text was signed by four
