Shawn Warren of Windham continued his hot summer by taking the opening-round lead Wednesday at the Charlie's Maine Open at Fox Ridge Golf Course.
Warren shot a 6-under-par 66 to take a two-shot lead over Jeff Seavey of the Samoset, and a three-shot lead over John Hickson of Topsham and Robert Kalinowski of Lynnfield, Mass.
