The 90th Maine Open will be played at Fox Ridge in Auburn for the third straight year, beginning Tuesday.
The tournament's major sponsor for the sixth consecutive year is Charlie's Motor Mall of Augusta. The tournament's pro-am will be played Monday.
Like most courses in New England, Fox Ridge has been inundated with rain. Course superintendent Ed Michaud and his crew are working overtime to get the course in shape for the 140-player field.
