Anhui 7-Month Consumper Products Retail Sales up 22.8%
HEFEI, Aug 27, 2008 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Anhui's retail sales of consumer products amounted to CNY 159.42 billion in the first seven months of 2008, leaping 22.8% year on year and up 6.5 percentage points compared with the growth in the January-July 2007 period, according to the provincial statistics bureau on August 25.
As for different areas, cities achieved retail sales of CNY 89.26 billion, jumping 24.1% year on year. In July alone, cities' retail sales rose 25.5% to CNY 12.69 billion.
