Two Mossad agents were killed in Europe several years ago while trailing Nahum Manbar, then wanted for selling weapons materials to Iran, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said yesterday.
Netanyahu thus confirmed a report in London's Sunday Times that the agents were trailing Manbar in a high-speed chase through Vienna during the Mossad's investigation of Manbar's arms dealings with Iran. Manbar was sentenced last week to 16 years in jail for these activities.
