Vic: Stay inside, residents warned as factory goes up in flames

MELBOURNE, Aug 30 AAP - Residents living near a factory that went up in flames early
today were told to keep their doors and windows closed because of toxic fumes.

Fire caused $3 million worth of damage to the 50 metre by 50 metre double storey factory
at Fiveways Boulevard in southeastern Keysborough which produces chemical additives for
concrete.

The Country Fire Authority (CFA) arrived just before 5am (AEST) to find the back of
the factory well alight.

CFA spokesman George Ellis said a warning to residents to keep their doors and windows
closed was issued on radio as they fought ...
