China to Have 119mn Mobile Search Users in 2008
BEIJING, Sep 12, 2008 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China's mobile search users are expected to jump 95.1% year on year to 119 million in 2008, forecasts iResearch Consulting Group, a professional information industry market research firm in the country.
Influenced by the Spring Festival and holidays, the number of mobile search users withered 6.1% quarter on quarter in the first three months of 2008. Holidays, entertainment activities and traditional media weakened persons' demand for mobile search, noted iResearch.
