Yamada Denki to Open Store in China with USD100mn

SHENYANG, Sep 16, 2008 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Japan's largest household appliance retail chain Yamada Denki Co., Ltd. plans to input USD 100 million in building a flagship store in Shenyang, the capital city of northeast Liaoning Province.

Another store will be constructed in Heping District of the city, revealed a person in the know. In May 2008, a Japanese medium released that Yamada Denki was brewing opening stores in Shanghai within two years. The stores would sell flat panel TVs made in Japan to high-end customers in China.
