NSW: Anita Cobby's father an inspiration to victims' families

SYDNEY, Sept 15 AAP - The father of murdered Sydney woman Anita Cobby was an inspiration
to other families of murder victims and had a profound effect on the NSW justice system,
police and supporters have said.
Garry Lynch died, aged 90, yesterday in a western Sydney nursing home after a long
battle with dementia.
His passing has led to a flood of tributes from police and victims families, who have
praised him for work with the Homicide Victims Support Group, an organisation he helped
to set up in 1993.
