Sequans Communications, a WiMAX chipmaker, stated that its chips are in more than 50 percent of the Mobile WiMAX mobile station devices with MIMO capabilities recently certified by the WiMAX Forum.
Three Sequans-based devices were initially certified in June when the first six certified products were announced, and as of today a total of fifteen products have been certified, eight of which are based on Sequans technology.
