SYDNEY, Oct 25 AAP - When Australia's Geoff Lawson was appointed coach of Pakistan's
cricket team in July last year, he must have known getting sacked was a constant threat.
While the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is accustomed to periods of upheaval, even Lawson
must have been somewhat surprised by the events surrounding his demise this week.
Ijaz Butt took over as PCB chairman on October 7. Several senior board officials and
team management staff have since resigned or been removed.
Butt used his first press conference as chairman earlier this week in Lahore to announce
