ASUS Adopts IDT PCI Express Switching Solutions

IDT (Integrated Device Technology), a provider of mixed signal semiconductor solutions, announced that ASUS has chosen an IDT PCI Express (PCIe) switching solution for use on its Intel processor- based motherboard.
The company said the motherboard, which supports PCI Express bandwidth up to 5GT/s (gigatransfers per second), is targeted for mainstream professional desktop PC users.
