Vic: Police charge couple with hosting fugitive Mokbel

MELBOURNE, Nov 27 AAP - A couple charged with harbouring drug smuggler and accused
murderer Tony Mokbel are expected to be the last people to be arrested for helping the
gangland boss flee Australia.
Mokbel allegedly stayed with Joseph Zeidan, 62, and his wife Evette Zeidan, 55, for
three days on their property outside Melbourne at the start of his 4,000km road trip in
2006 from Victoria to Western Australia.
The Zeidans were arrested by Purana squad officers at their property at Elphinstone,
about 100km north-west of Melbourne, at about 7.30am (AEDT) on Thursday.
