Sotheby's was just about to auction off Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s papers two years ago when the city of Atlanta stepped in and bought them. The more than 10,000 documents are now at Morehouse College in that city. Tomorrow, Sotheby's plans to auction three additional King documents, including a handwritten note that was in his pocket when he was killed. They belonged to Harry Belafonte, the actor, singer, and longtime friend and supporter of Dr. King. NPR's Margot Adler reports.
