Kailuan Clean Coal Extends Reaches to Coal Tar
KAILUAN, Dec 12, 2008 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- Chinese coal producer Kailuan Clean Coal Co., Ltd. (SHSE: 600997) says today that it and steelmaker Shougang Jingtang United Iron and Steel Company plan to set up a joint venture for a coal tar processing project in Caofeidian New Area, Hebei Province, North China.
The venture will build a 600,000-ton coal tar preliminary processing project and a deep processing project with annual capacity of more than 800,000 tons, involving total investment of CNY 2.5 billion. It is to construct a 300,000-ton coal tar preliminary processing project during Phase I ...
