Scomi CEO not involved in nuke proliferation probe

KUALA LUMPUR: Scomi Group Bhd said its chief executive officer is not involved in any further investigation into the alleged nuclear proliferation network since 2004, clarifying a report claiming that its chief was among 13 sanctioned by the United States.
The Malaysian engineering company said Shah Hakim Shahzanim Zain had not been further investigated since the probes by the Malaysian police, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and other authorities in 2004.
