Ferry riders applaud NY Waterway crews -- 'Did tremendous job' in ditched-plane rescue

WEEHAWKEN Ferry passengers expressed their admiration and thanks to NY Waterway employees Friday for their efforts to save passengers of US Airlines Flight 1549 from the frigid Hudson River the day before.

"Fantastic," said Cathy Colbert of Bergenfield. "They did a tremendous job yesterday. I'm very much impressed."
