Huawei Said to Cut Jobs

SHENHZEN, Jan 20, 2009 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd, is unable to escape from the financial crisis either, even though it is a leader in China's IT industry.

On January 19, 2009, employees of the company revealed that Huawei would cut 5% of its jobs before the Spring Festival to come at the end of the month. Observers point out that Huawei's action may affect other counterparts.
