GEORGE TOWN: Forty-two disabled people from Eden Handicap Service Centre here received gifts from Magnum Corporation Sdn Bhd in conjunction with Chinese New Year.
Magnum Corporation regional manager (northern) S. Perambalam, marketing executive Chris Ooi and a team of employees brought the gifts to the centre in Jalan Sir Hussein here yesterday.
The gifts were in the form of ang pow, mandarin oranges and a bag containing foodstuff.
Perambalam said the distribution of gifts to the less fortunate in the run-up to Chinese New Year was part of the "Magnum Cares" programme.
