As we mentioned earlier, Barack Obama's running mate, veteran Delaware Senator Joe Biden, is preparing today for his convention speech accepting the Democrat's vice-presidential nomination. Biden has been in the Senate for decades and is currently the chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations. He was chosen in part because of his experience in foreign affairs.
