SEN. ENSIGN IS INTERVIEWED ON CNBC
FEBRUARY 3, 2009
SPEAKER: SEN. JOHN ENSIGN, R-NEV.
[*]
QUESTION: The stimulus battle continues in the Senate. We've
got a new plan released by a few Senate Republicans. That came last evening.
Joining us now to discuss it, Republican Senator John Ensign,
from the great state of Nevada.
Hello, Mr. Ensign.
ENSIGN: Good to be with you.
QUESTION: All right. Sir, we've got a lot of tax cuts here.
This is break-through stuff. We've got a holiday on employee payroll taxes.
We've got large and small business tax cuts, much less spending.
Are you committed to this new program?
