PETALING JAYA: Lingham's Chilli Sauce is a Malaysian brand found on supermarket shelves the world over.

It has become a staple in the United Kingdom.
The Lingham chilli sauce story began more than 100 years ago in Penang with an Indian of the same name who is said to have begun making the sauce in his backyard. It is said he went out on his bicycle, selling it door-to-door.

The business was later sold to Ooi Choo Hong.
