Department of Defense Committee on House Appropriations Subcommittee on
Defense March 03, 2009 Mr. Chairman, Members of the Committee, thank you
for the opportunity to bring you up to date on what the Department of Defense
(DoD) is doing to improve the quality of care for our wounded warriors
with psychological health needs and traumatic brain injury (TBI). We are
pleased to be here. Apart from ensuring our nation's safety and security,
the DoD has no higher priority than to provide the highest quality care
and support to our wounded, ill, and injured warriors and their families.
