Detecon Al Saudia Inks Pact for Pre-launch Capacity on the Intelsat- 15 Satellite

Intelsat, a provider of fixed satellite services, announced that Detecon Al Saudia Co. signed a multi-year contract for Ku-band capacity on Intelsat's new satellite, IS-15 which will be located at 85E when it is launched later this year.

DETASAD, a German-Saudi Arabian joint venture telecommunications and IT company, will use the capacity to provide additional Very Small Aperture (VSAT) transmission services to its small and medium enterprise, government and maritime customers throughout the Middle East.
