Vic: Royal Women's execs called ito explain waiting list figures
MELBOURNE, March 19 AAP - The Royal Women's Hospital told the Victorian government
last month that it handed over false waiting list figures a month before Health Minister
Daniel Andrews denied he was aware of the practice in hospitals.
The Department of Human Services (DHS) reported to Mr Andrews' office on February 23
that the hospital's claims of "clerical data errors" was in fact "manipulation of the
data", the newspaper said.
Hospital executives will be summoned to Mr Andrews' office to explain the data on Thursday,
it said.
