HWANGDBS Investment Bank Bhd plans to arrange more syndicated loans to companies, particularly in the oil and gas sector, taking advantage of the still seized up bond market and stricter bank lending.

The bank will soon close a deal to another oil and gas firm, after arranging RM150 million syndicated transferable loans to Petra Perdana Bhd earlier this month, managing director Lee Jim Leng said.
The upcoming deal is a joint effort with a local bank, she added.
