Statement of Martha Garcia President Ramah Navajo School Board, Inc. (RNSB)
Committee on House Appropriations Subcommittee on Interior, Environment,
and Related Agencies March 26, 2009 Mr. Chairman and Members of the Subcommittee:
My name is Martha Garcia, and I am the President of the Board of Trustees
of the Ramah Navajo School Board, Inc. (RNSB), which governs the K-12 Pine
Hill School and over 30 other community programs on the Ramah Navajo Reservation
in Cibola County at Pine Hill, New Mexico. My testimony is on the need
to appropriate adequate funding to address the infrastructure needs of
