Roving Networks, a provider of WiFi and Bluetooth solutions, announced the release of its latest, ultra low power 802.11 b/g module.
The WiFly RN-131 GSX surface mount module is a complete TCP/IP networking solution for embedded wireless applications.
Roving said that the combination of ultra low power and the ability to wake up, connect to a wireless network, send data and return to sleep mode in less than 100 milliseconds, allows the WiFly GSX to run for years on two standard AAA batteries.
