FORT LEE Manchester's David Vela and Tommy Fierro combined to pitch a no-hitter and didn't even know it.

The Falcons edged Fort Lee, 3-2, in a non-league baseball game on Saturday, but they didn't celebrate the no-hitter on the field. Instead, they discovered Fort Lee hadn't gotten a hit during the bus ride back to the school.

"The score was 3-2. Who's thinking the no-hitter is still intact?" Manchester coach Rich Broderick said. "We're on the bus, 10 minutes into ride, and my assistant coach is going through the book ...
